Watched Mystery of the Riverboat, which was a serial, looked like a "B", 13 chapters, not good acting at all, but I thought it was pretty fun, as the only serial I've seen at all is Superman. At least there's a "cliffhanger" about every 20 minutes! 
Plus this one has a few good songs thrown in for measure. It kept my interest throughout. It lasts about 4-4 1/2 hours total, and I watched it on and off all day Saturday.
